Laura Bidwa’s recent works explore the ephemeral nature of time. Small and deceptively simple paintings, they impart just enough of the process of their making to make the viewer instantly at one with the time of the work. They are, in essence, receptacles of the universal experience of attempting to retain the fleeting bits of information that make up the flux of our days.
