Leonardo Drew is known for his deeply colored, large-scale installations described by curator Zoe Whitley as “order and unexpected beauty [created] out of human detritus.” He first exhibited at age 13 and earned his BFA from Cooper Union in 1985. Drew has shown at venues including the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington D.C., the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin and the Miami Art Museum. He lives and works in Brooklyn, N.Y.
